Introduction

The GLP-1 Calculator is a research tool designed for educational purposes to help understand dosage calculations for various compounds. This guide will walk you through all the features and how to use them effectively.

Important: This tool is for research and educational purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Getting Started

Step 1: Select Your Compound Type

The calculator offers several options:

  • Semaglutide Calculator: For research calculations
  • Tirzepatide Calculator: For research calculations
  • Retatrutide Calculator: For research calculations
  • Peptide Calculator: For general research calculations

Use the tabs at the top of the calculator to switch between different compound types.

Step 2: Enter Your Vial Information

You'll need to input:

  • Total mg in Vial: The total amount of compound in your vial
  • Bacteriostatic Water Volume: The amount of water you'll use for reconstitution

Tip: Always double-check the concentration of your compound vial before entering values.

Step 3: Set Your Target Dose

Enter your desired dose in milligrams (mg). The calculator will automatically calculate the correct volume to use.

Step 4: Select Your Syringe Size

Choose from three common syringe sizes:

  • 0.3ml (30 units)
  • 0.5ml (50 units)
  • 1.0ml (100 units)

The calculator will show you exactly where to draw up to on your selected syringe.

Understanding the Results

After entering your information, the calculator provides:

Concentration

Shows the concentration of your reconstituted compound in mg/ml

Volume to Use

Displays the exact volume in milliliters (ml) you need to draw up

Units on Syringe

Converts the volume to units on your insulin syringe for easy measurement

Visual Syringe Guide

The calculator includes a visual syringe representation that shows:

  • Major markings every 10 units
  • Minor markings every 5 units
  • Small markings every 2 units
  • A blue fill indicator showing exactly where to draw up to

Warning: If your calculated dose exceeds the syringe capacity, the calculator will show a warning and provide alternative options.
